Mark Todd graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 1993. He lives in Southern California. His new body of work has taken on the form of updated/reworked comic book covers that occupy a space between child like wonderment and an abstract form of contemporary art. A few of his clients include Coca- Cola, MTV, Sony, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and Spin Magazine.

Bwana Spoons is a painter, illustrator and toy designer living in Portland, Oregon. He runs Grass Hut studio/gallery/shop and loves trees, moss, and monsters. Through his many creature creations and swirly environments he has truly created a world of his own.

Martin Ontiveros is a painter, illustrator, toy designer and wizard living in Portland, Oregon. He is part of the Grass Hut Gang. He enjoys metal music and that influence can be seen in his magical pieces executed with a big-bold-bright-clean-crisp style.

Jesse Balmer is an up and coming San Francisco artist. He recently completed the cover illustration for Daestro’s record “Keepers” and has exhibited in numerous shows throughout San Francisco and Southern California. His work employs extremely tight line work filled with often fantastical beings and environments.

New Pinky St. Series 8

Pinky St. Series 8 is in stock at double punch! Featuring all new different hair styles and facial expressions. Each has a new style outfit that hasn’t been released in the earlier series. I’m noticing a much nicer stylized look to this new series.

Charley and Humphrey Shirt at Wonder Con

Charley and Humphrey Shirt

We saw this really awesome Charley and Humphrey Shirt at Wondercon. It was made by Motenai Comics. They sold out of them at Wondercon but we still hope we can get one.

Charley and Humphrey are a Bay Area thing from way back times from childhood. Here is the copy paste from Wookiepedia.

“At one time McCormick voiced and performed a series of one-minute public service announcements on KGO-TV and KTVU-TV. Targeted for children, they featured two puppets called Charley and Humphrey; Charley was a horse who wore a sea captain’s hat, and Humphrey Hambone was a bulldog. Other occasionally seen puppets were “Sneezer,” “Shagnasty Bear,” and “Pussyfoot,” a piano-playing cat in sunglasses.”

Check out the video and let the memories come rushing back…

We are loving it. LOVE IT!
