Jon Vermilyea holds a BFA in cartooning from the SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS in New York. He was the Production Manager of Picturebox Inc. from 2006 – 2008 where he managed production of over 20 books, several fine art prints, comics, zines and t-shirts. His work has been published in BEASTS! Book Two, Ganzfeld 7, Comics Comics 4, Vice Magazine, Critical Citadel, Trashed Magazine, Complex Magazine, MOME, Tales of Colt 45, Faesthetic, Color Ink Book, and The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror. He has provided apparel graphics for Mishka, Threadless, Oddica Clothing, Saved By Art, Arcade Agency, Nakatomi Inc., Mondo Tees, Better Days, and Fantastic Fest. He recently completed the album artwork for Animal Collective’s live box set entitled “Crack Box” and he continues to be prolific in the illustration/indie comics scene.
