The 58th Annual North Beach Festival Is This Weekend

Ladies and Gentleman, it’s that time again! It’s time for the North Beach Festival. Don’t all jump up at once. This is great time to get some sun and stop by the shop to check out our latest show in the Gallery, Ever Forever! See you soon.

In its 58th year, The North Beach Festival is considered one of the country’s original outdoor Festivals. This year our company was chosen by the organization that presents the Festival, The North Beach Chamber of Commerce, to produce the event, and with our joint efforts, it is our goal to make it the best one yet.

The event is situated in the historic North Beach District, known to locals and visitors alike as San Francisco’s Little Italy and the home of the famed beat generation. The Festival site includes numerous quaint streets in the heart of the district.

The 2012 event will feature over 125 arts and crafts booths, 20 gourmet food booths, three stages of live entertainment, Italian street painting, beverage gardens, children’s activities and the blessing of the animals.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to participate in this San Francisco tradition which is known nationally and internationally.

Blessing of the Animals:

The animal blessing at The National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi (610 Vallejo Street) will take place from 2:00 – 3:00 both days during the festival.

EVER FOREVER – Artist Spotlight on Eve Shing

Eve Shing is a Bay Area artist who developed an interest in Impressionism and Post-Impressionism: everyday life in a riot of color, depicted in expressive brushstrokes that capture vigor and vitality. In her own work, she likes to paint faces and characters that seem familiar, though somehow they always come out stranger by far.
